will BBK LT's fit a 96-98 Gt with a 6 speed?

A lot of people on the net have expressed problems with the steering shaft hitting the LT's....especially with the BBKs.

well they cant be any worse than these flowtech POS i have on there now with there 2 peice design...all you would have to do is dent of the the header tubes to allow clearance.

What ever you do dont get Hedman headers. Those things were a nightmare getting them installed. Not to mention no mid pipe fits with out rigging, even theyre own! Just my 2 cents.

My BBK fits excellent. As long as u do not use the gasket that comes with it.
My shaft cleared - although tight - fine
