Will my stock strut tower brace work OK with a Cobra intake? I am assuming that the STB out of a 94-95 Cobra is the same as the one out of my 94 GT.

the 94 - 95 cobras didnt come with a strut tower brace so im guessing they didnt put them on because it wouldnt clear, but i could be wrong, but my friend has a 95 cobra an it came stock without a strut tower, and i also read somewhere these years didnt have them.

Hmmm.....well I will try it without and I will buy one later if need-be. If the Cobras didn't run with one, it couldn't be THAT big of a problem if I don't either. I do have a convertible though so I might need that extra support......

In a coupe, at least, it's not necessary. I can't tell the difference without it (though I plan on replacing it when/if MM ever releases on for 94/95...)

I have a vert also and after driving it with and without the brace I can so I felt a noticable difference without it on. I would recommend getting an aftermarket one, they aren't that expensive.

I just put on a Cobra Intake this summer and the stock STB WILL NOT FIT, you have to get a steeda brace or something like that. I bought a Steeda brace off a guy from here for like $70.

Thanks guys. If my friend was back from school I would just have him build me one but I will order one tonight instead. Just wanted to save a $100 bucks.
