Will Foxbody gas tank fit in a 67?

Anyone know the dimensions of the foxbody gas tank? Can it be fit into a 67 without cutting into the trunk floor metal? And would the sending unit work with the 67 gauge?

I see them for sale cheap ($40) with the sending units and in-tank pumps,was thinking this may be a cheap option for an EFI conversion.

How would you attach it? The factory uses straps to hold it to the floor, I think it may be too wide, but I'm not sure.

Fox Body gas tank has a large hump on the top of the passenger side, so this would protrude from the floor. Also the fill tube is on the pass. side of the tank. Not sure how you woul dconnect this to the center-rear fill tube on your classic stang.

bad idea. Better idea is to modify stock tank for EFI use.

Okay. I found some ads with pics of the tank and see what you're all talking about. I agree, it's a prety crappy idea.
