Heres the combo:
351w
holley 750 Dp carb
Torker II intake
Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads (older model, Non adj. valvetrain, Pedestal mount)
F303
1.72 Crane RR's
Flow's , Unequals, OffRoad H-Pipe
Is that going to make too much power for the T-5 tranny to handle?
What should I upgrade my Tranny and Rearend too? Budget is a issue here, so lets think economic upgrades.
also, and links would be helpfull.

yeah if you are not careful you will break it in half in no time.

3550 would be fine, get better axles and rebuild your trac loc, if a spool is in the picture as far as money goes, do it

5spd, I go Tremec TKO a little more then the 3550 but you will not out grow it, Lakewood Blow proof bell, SFI flywheel and clutch.

In the spirit of salty's cry for economic relief -- throw a C4 with a loose stall in it - gear it correctly for the track. The converter will be a little easier on the stock rear end. Money no object I'd simply follow Rick's advice on the tranny bits, and IndyBlk's on the rear end.
