will my 88 gt heads fit on a 73 302 block?

any ideas? if not can they be made to fit? or what do i have to do to make them fit?

They'll physically bolt right up, though I don't know what sort of compression ratio will result. You'll probably have to drill a few steam vent holes in the deck surfaces of the block (lay the '88 head gasket on the '73 block, you can see where to drill).

hey guys sorry relooked up the casting number its a 1980 block. i thought it was a 73 but when i looked again i saw that it was an 80 302
