Parts, ported gt40 intake (tmoss) 75mm tbody, f303 cam, 64cc 180 protoplines, MAHLE forged flatops @ 8.7:1 compression ratio. and everything in sig...
Im afraid that with the compression ratio that it has it will be a dog. What do you all think?

I'm worried about the same thing with my N/A 351w with low compression. Where does compression effect hp/tq? Low end, top end, all the way through the RPM range?

I plan on 10 psi... Whatever gets me to 475-500rwhp.
I just think with the lower compression ratio that it wont be any good n/a for the time being?

The 8.7:1 isn't that bad at all, stock is typically 8.9-9.25:1 , and they still have decent response down low, not great power, but not bad either. Then if you factor in your increased airflow you will still make good power, a world of difference from stock.

Compression will affect overall horsepower and torque, typical results are in the 4-5% of an increase when increasing 1:1 compression. I wouldn't worry about your low compression, it will pay off when you add in your blower .

will run like a truck on the street but no beast with that compression. I have close to 10:5.1 with a blower about 9lbs of boost

Yep, gonna get beat by stock hondas with that low a compression and a F cam. Not sure how those heads flow, but I bet they hurt you hard down low if they flow too good... The only thing that'll make it feel fast is the gears and the lopy idle.

like stated if you have smaller valves that will help with the lowend and torque down low but if its some big heads than its going to be slow, ever see the rated hp for a new crate 351w with 8:25.1 compression its like 210hp.

It clearly says TOM there.
But since you brought it up, Its a piss poor thing to advertise stuff for sale and then get a buyer and back out.
