will Oxygen Sensors from a 94-95 fit my 88

the 88 uses a three wire oxygen sensor and the 94-95 use a 4 wire. there may be a way to splice the 4 wires from 94-95 sensor to the 88 3 wire harness plug but i don't know....
I knew the 94-95 was a 4 wire from when I had my 95 but I thought they might be the same on the fox's. Thanks
