I wnat to cut my pipes just behind the mufflers (putting on dumps) but have no cutting wheel or rotary tools- will my sawzall cut through these pipes? It seems like it will, but I just want to be sure before I leap into this. Thanks for any info.

Without a doubt. If you have a new blade, should slice through easily.

like butter! BE SURE TO USE SAFETY GLASSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sawzall's make a terrible mess and fling metal ALL over! i just used one to cut the spare tire well out to fit my fuel cell. piece of cake. wear ear protection too as the harmonics will damage your ear drums. oh yeah, one more thing... HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!

Just be sure to put the metal blade in. You can lean on the wood blade all day.....

Start from the bottom of the pipe and cut up, if you don't the weight of the pipe will close the cut gap and pinch the blade, It will feel like you are trying to hold on to a paint shaker. We used sawzalls all the time in the exhaust shop, so with a new blade it won't even be a issue

I like to use a cutting wheel on a 5" GRINDER but sawzall will do the trick too and less sparks but will take a bit longer but still not that long, sparks can be bad but not in my case.

I totaled it over the winter. I parted most of it out and couldent get a tow truck to come pick up the rest. They are all worried it will ruin their beds. We just started cutting it up and we are going to take it to the dump. We are using a swazall cuz thats all we have and my parents are going to kill me if I dont get it outa the driveway .This is whats left rite now
