I am converting to fuel injection and i really dont want to put an inline pump in i would rather have a intank one. well will a tank and lines out of a 4 cly work? if i put a bigger fuel pump in them? If they wont work where can i get braided fuel lines from the tank to the engine and how much would they cost?

The tank from any mustang will work, you just need the sender and pump assembly from a V8 EFI car. I believe the fuel lines are on the driverside of a 4 cyl and i believe they are on the pass side of a v8 car so you may have to use braided from the end of the hard line to the rail. The factory 4 cyl hard lined should be good to 350 hp with a decent in tank pump.

correct, the 4 banger lines run on the dr side.

you'll need the complete fuel lines from a v8 donor. I believe they are bolted and rivited in. Remove them and they'll bolt right up to your 84, it may take more time to modify the 4 banger lines than they are worth, + the ends are set up for different lines at the engine side.

Check these guys out. You can get as little or as much from them from a single fuel line to a complete kit for your car. There are droves of other vendors out there but this would be a start and they have everything you could need.
