I don't know if the 17x10 would fit at least in the front. I have 17x8's (255/40/17 tires) in the frot and thats about as close as I wanna get to the control arms and fenders. Maybe a spacer for the hubs?? If that would be the case make sure you are running longer studs to make up for the spacers. As for the rears, I have 17x9's in the back with 275/40/17 tires, I flipped the quad shocks for safety percautions. Again, probly have to run some spacers, then roll the fenders for the clearance for the tires. Thats about the only way I can thibk of them fitting. Thats quite a wie rim for the front tho, The rear I can see lookn mean as hell if you can get em to fit. Hope I helped more than confused.
Good luck with it

Calm down. Some of us have jobs and/or lives (for me its just the job and car).

I have 17x9s, 255s in the front of my lowered 90 GT. You should have more room on the LX. I did have to bend the fender lip. Inboard clearance is adequate, if you ignore the plastic inner fender, which rubs very lightly when at full turn. In the back I have the same wheel size with 275s. They fit great, but in my application I still had to bend the fenders up for clearance. I have an entire rear end from a 95GT, which was a different length. That required the backspacing of the 95 wheels.
Unless you have incredible power and push the car hard in turns you probably will be able to get enough tire on the 17x9s.
Anything will fit with a big enough hammer.
