Will this 31 spline Trac Loc work for me???

Im bidding on this Ford 31 spline Trac loc on ebay. It seems to be what i want. But i got a message from some dude telling me that its not a limited slip diff that im bidding on. I thought if it was a Ford Trac Loc then its a limited slip, someone help me out.

I think it is limited slip but lets wait for others to climb in on this. I used to have a 31spline limited slip diff from an explorer and it worked perfectly. F-150 also have them.

E-mail for the part number. M-4204F318 is the limited slip, M-4204F3180 is the open.

The diff in the pictures is a Trac Loc, in the second picture you can see one of the ears for the friction clutches, plus it has the 'S' spring and if I remember, open diffs don't have the spring.

divit is correct. Opens don't have the S Springs.
