Buddy of mine from a local auto parts store has given me a spanking new replacement Electric fan for the 94-95 Taurus 3.0 liter...the fan is a three wire two speed unit and I'm curious as to wether this will move enough air for me. The shroud covers the rad quite well and the fan is 6 blades 14-15 inch diamer. I will be running a DC Controler thanks to Hissin50 but would like a little input on the output of this fan if possible. Thanks D.

Now that I re-read my first post I realize I didnt make any sense. Hah. What I meant to say was I'm only familiar with the 3.8 taurus fan install not the 3.0. I dont know if the 3.0 will even work or flow the same CFM for that matter.

Well it will work...question is will how well will it work? Looking for any info available on this unit..thanks again. This fan was standard replacement component on 94-95 taurus 3.0 engines.

here is the fan mocked up on my old rad...if this helps with identification.

Derek, I have no idea what CFM's those flow (I'd almost have to hit a Taurus forum to try and find out). Mike (Giddy Up) on here might know too.

That looks pretty nice - I'd almost install it and just see how it does.

I know that doesnt help at all.

Well I pretty much have to install it..simply because it was so damn inexpensive..JT I have taken you're advice and sent an email to DCC and await price and payment terms on the product...thank you for that and all your help. I have to agree on it looking pretty good..I used aluminum strips to secure it and once in place I think it will be very easily overlooked...my idea of perfect with items like that in the bay.

The larger fan flows 4,000 CFM just like a Mark VIII fan... I would be that the smaller unit flows in the 3,000 CFM range but let me find out for sure.

That is a nice little mounting plan too... Don't forget to chop off the factory ears (tabs)

Thanks buddy...have at it..actually I'm using the ears as height spacers too keep the fan balanced on the rad nicely..the over flow bottle will hide the ears on the one side and the others won't be noticed either once in place..all in all I really like the look and think it should look fairly decent in place...I hope.
