Window washer light doesnt turn off.

So like the title says, the "low window washer fluid" light doesnt turn off. Anyone know what I should check/replace to try to get it to work right? I know I can just take out the light, but i'd rather fix it if possible.

get a new sensor.. its located in the washer fluid reservor.

ha never mind. thinking coolant sensor! my bad!

Hmm, well that may be my probem then, I dont see a sensor on it. I'm guessing it looks like the coolant sensor? All thats on the washer fluid is the cap and the "filter" looking thing inside.

it depends on the year of your car.. 79-85 have it on the top cover of the washer tank. I think in later models its in the tank located in the fenderwell.

could be the sensor or corrosion on the plug making the connection, it's a simple system and a little corrosion can complete the circuit.

damn, so I have to take the fender off to get to it??

remove the inner fender liner. A few screws and push pins..

Yeah, so it sounded easy, lol..

I got all the screws off, but it wouldnt budge, looks like I would have to pull it away from the body alot (it goes behind the side skirts and fender) and the stupid clips wouldnt come out, only break.. lol
