Hey guys. Just wondering if there's any way to make my windows go up and down evenly. The passenger side window goes up and down noticeably slower than the driver side window (it's not just slower, it is just plain slow too). This irks me because on my 1993 Explorer ALL the windows go up and down the same speed even after 12 years of use. That is quality. My Mustang not so quality.

Is there a voltage regulator of some sort in the door that controls the speed at which the window goes up and down?

Thanks.

That is because the window is hanging up on the rubber stripping it goes between. This will eventually burn out the motor or seperate the window glass from the mounting bracket. A little silicone spray and some simple preventitive maint is needed...

And if it really starts hanging up, roll it up a couple inches and then down...
