Got behind a damn truck on the interstate this weekend, kicked up a rock. From a nic went to a crack in no time. Called ins. co. and they set up a at-home repair with a reputible company here.

Man, you would not imagine what has to be done to get a windshield out if you've never seen that done before. Okay, the reason of the post.........

While using his mini jackhammer thing on the passenger side of the windshield, he cut right thru the wires for the overhead light. No problem, just spliced them back. Just a word of warning, if you have this done to your stang, let the tech know that those wires are not in the pillar, they are on the outside of it.

Cheers and happy holidays to everyone !!!!

Good find. Those guys are miracle workers who replace windshields. In NYS we have 2 stickers on the windshield. They can remove and replace them perfectly. Every time I've had a windshield replaced, they never leaked.
