just wondering if anyone on here has or been thinking about tinting their windshield...been contemplating it, seen some cars on other forums wit it, looks good...just wondering?
You mean just along the top (like 4")? If so, I love that stuff! With it and side tint, I can drive during the day with no shades on (it cuts a ton of glare).
Without that tint strip, I need shades.
I have also had windshields that were tinted. While nice, I would not replace one just to get the tint (atleast in my experience with it).
I'm down in AZ so it's kinda important. Up in the Seattle area (I grew up a stone's throw from where you are. ), I don't think it's as important.
i used to have my windshield tinted. i had it done 50%. as well does turbogt.... it looks GREAT, especially @ a car show, cleans everything up. but nite time driving blows sometimes, especially if ur on dark roads without much lighting, the headlights dont do much. between that and the loud dumps i HAD, its probably what got me pulled over twice for tint.... so now im just going back to the strip aacross the windshield...
I had it on my car when I bought it and I almost hit a parked car in my neighborhood at night.
I immediately got it taken off everything but the rear window and it still blows backing up at night...
