Hey guys and gals, having a little problem trying to sort something out...

Since I'm new to the car performance deal, I decided to go to XMP in Aliso Viejo in California to try and get some ideas on how to build up my car for a kenne bell blower. As we talked about the modifications i can do for my car, he suggested that I get a windsor block to use with my PI heads that I recently purchased because apparently 75000 miles is waaaay too many miles on a block for a blower of that type. Only thing is, is it actually possible to put on P.I. heads and other 4.6 newer (97+) modular parts on a 351 windsor block from older model cars? I'm so confused.

Any help would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

ummm i don't think 75k is too much at all. just get a good safe tune on the KB and you'll be fine. what kit are you planning on running? anything more than 9lbs and you'll probably blow it up eventually anyways.

What your friend was saying is to get a 281 Windsor block not 351 and if you were getting a new block might as well take out stock internals.

just get a VT forged shortblock and run more boost be careful though because i think after 14lbs you can't pass the sniffer for emissions here in cali.
