I took off my wipers and my antenna because i was going to repaint them since they needed it. I was staring at my car last nite and came to the conclusion that it looks sooooooooo much cleaner without an antenna or wipers. Its just clutter that takes away from the front end and i love not having it. I would love to shave off the antenna stump and leave the wipers off since my saleen is a nice weather only car. But then the only thing is that the cowl cover has cut outs for the washer fluid and wiper arms. Do they even make a cowl covers for 99-04's that dont have the cutouts?

I've got the bullit shaped ones from UPR on my car. I painted them black and they look much better and don't stand out as much as when they were polished.

When they were polished however and stood out more I ended up taking them off my car because I was tired of people saying "where are your wipers?" or "what are those things". It got annoying as hell!!!

Go to lowes or Walmart and get the chair leg rubber boots. They come usually in a pack of 4 and they are little rubber condom looking pieces that are supposed to slide over the ends.

I removed my wipers almost 1 year ago and have these things on. They blend right in with the cowl and look smooth. Cant beat $2.59 to cover the wiper rotors.

i just shortened my factory antenna. I didnt want to pay the money for an aftermarket one and i have a silver unpainted stocker so, I just took a claw hammer, popped the ball off the end measured 15 inches up from the bottom, cut, tapered the end so that it would fit in the ball and glued the ball back on. when i was done i polished everything up. the best part was, that it only cost me about 20 minutes of my time.

Got any pics?

Here is one, but not a great closeup. You get the idea though. I have had more complements than questions regarding removal.
