i just bolted on a 2.5" cowl hood and it doesnt seem to like the wiper cover. anyone have any suggestions in replacing the wiper cover, or pictures of such fabricated replacements? thanks
Mine's a 79, and the cowl hood Im using is much narrower than yours, so there's 3" of the cowl piece sticking out on either side of the hood. Now add to the fact that I"ll have to trim up at least 1/2" on the front portion of the cowl piece to clear the hood, (and inner hood area), which will look extremely nice, (NOT).
Then add to the fact that it fits like hell along the windshield. Going to take much trimming to make that look right as well.
I dont think this was made for 79s..............................Mine fits like chit.
