I wouldn't ground to alunimum unless I had to.

High amperage through a three dissimular metals junction is asking for corrosion of several types and thus a high resistance connection. There are treatments and gels/ inhibiters that can be used, Sleeper can give better information on these than I.

There is a bolt on the forward right of the lower block that begs to be used as a ground.

not the best pics but the small push on wire goes to the "R" terminal on the relay. of course pos goes on side closest to Battery and other side also pos, goes down to starter. The ground you can move to one of the bell housing tranny bolts. Hope that helps.

Thanks alot for the replys guys. Im pretty sure i have it all hooked up right, but for some reason im still haveing a problem. When i go to start it all it does is make a clicking noise that comes from the starter relay. I know that its not a bad starter relay cause its brand new. Also i have a new mini starter....am i suppose to wire some thing different because of this \. What am i missing. Anyhelp would be great.
Thanks

With the ground you are better off going straight to the block. With the PMGR starter you need two wires going to it as it has a solenoid on it like the GM starters do. You need the 1 heavy wire for the main power and 1 smaller wire to trigger the solenoid on the starter. The diagram shown is the best way to wire it. The second wire doesn't have to be too big I think I ran a piece of 14AWG and zip strapped it to the larger wire.
