ok, i got the lines all hooked up and everything looks good. now i have to wire it and i have no clue where to start.i have the diagram from hurst, but that doesn't help me as far as where to find a 12v positive source and how to get the wires inside my car. i will be using a b&m shifter handle with a button on it. any help would be appreciated

I dont have a Hurst unit but the wiring should be the same. Take the ground wire off the roll control and find a good chasis ground something close to the unit but away from moving parts. The take the power wire and run into the passenger compartment, I went in through a rubber boot by the master cylinder but you are on the passenger side of the car you might want to find something a little closer.

The electrical hook-up is cake, I tapped another wire with inline fuse into the red wire off of the radio harness and connect that to one of the leads on your shifter. The other lead on your shifter goes to the wire you ran in from the roll control unit. If you want to wire it into a switch also just take the power wire from the radio to one side of the switch and the other side of the shifter button.

Just remember Roll control>shifter>toggle switch>12 volt source (radio)

I did the same basic thing as 2kyellowgt. It is very easy.

- Ground line lock unit at closest chaisis spot.
- Ran a single wire inside the car through gromet by brake cylinder. This is for powering the line lock.
- Inside the car I used the cig lighter for power. Used a simple splice/tap connector to tap the wire with out having to cut it.
- The switch goes in the power line with a fuse. If the switch is open the power does not get to the unit. Close the switch and power is now connected to the line and powers on the line lock unit.

It is really that simple.

I dont really know what the Hurst directions say but the only light I ran was a small indicator light so I would know the the switch is on.

I got it from summit its a TCI Auto model, I think it was around $40. I also didnt install it at the ABS unit I went right off the master cylinder.
