Replacements for the original can be bought in sections such as under dash, engine, headlight, taillights,etc... They will be a direct plug-in replacement. Aftermarket kits often require you to cut wires to length and re-use plugs.

The harnesses are unfortunatly very expensive. I repaired my original harness several times, patching it, and replacing sections, before I finally just replaces the whole think with an aftermarket EZ wire 21 ckt harness.

That was shortly after being stuck in this little hick town for an hour as I tried to figure out what connection was not being made, and causing my car not to run while my fiance tried not to give me the death stare.

I just rewired my 67. Used Painless kit. I was impressed with the kit. All wires well marked, the right length and directions were great. Well worth the money.
