I am about to take on a wiring job for a friend. He has a 89 coupe that was completely torn apart, firewall smoothed and harness is now inside the fenderwell. The car has had the a/c and heat box removed, the stock fuel tank removed and a fuel cell placed in the trunk, the batter is installed in the trunk as well.
He wants a main cut off switch in the console, the plans are to reinstall the stock cluster, MSD box with MSD coil and some pillar mounted gauges. Is there a way for the stock fuel gauge in the cluster to work with the fuel cell?? Which wires on the harness that comes out of the firewall will I need to use to get the main power to all the stock items , turn, brake, power windows etc. I know this will not be too bad once I get the car here in front of me, just looking for some info before it arrives
