I know next to nothing about automotive wiring. So I could use a little help wiring up my AEM 30-4100 wideband. All the cables are properly ran and I have the ground to the sensor ran already. I need help knowing what wire to tap into or how to tap into one of the auxillarys in the fuse box that are only hot when the key is on that won't draw too much current from something else or mess something up. I was hoping to not have to remove the fuse box because I'm not entirely certain how to remove the knee panel in my 90 GT (I know you remove the three bolts at the bottom however if you need to remove the collar on the steering wheel and how to remove the panel without destroying the clips at the top of the panel is another story) to get to the bolts that hold the box in place. Any help will be much appreciated.

I would use the switched ignition power off the radio. Easy to get to and easy to hide

I spliced a fuse holder into the Red/LT green wire on the ignition switch under the steering column. Actually I made a fuse holder with two female connectors

As Nick mentioned about tapping into the swtiched ignition wire for the radio, I have my AEM Wideband switched ignition wire tapped into that wire with no interference what so ever.
