VIN and such

How long did it take for the dealer to get you your VIN and expected build and delivery date? I ordered mine on July 1st but I'm not sure if I actually trust this dealer on getting it for the X plan price he said he would or even if he would order it, and even if he would give it to me. I orderd it from one of the biggest Ford dealers in RI so I would assume it would be no problem getting it.

But the thing is I asked for some copies of papers I signed and he said I don't get any

So I'm just wondering how long the average time between ordering and getting confirmation is. It's been a little over a week.

I ordered back in April and was 12th on there list. When Mid June came around he told me I would either be the last 05 or the 1st 06. I elected to go to the first 06 route. I was first on his list when the order books opened he rammed my name in. Apparently Ford only pulls orders on Thursday... so by Friday of each week you should know.

Now I see a bunch of rumours spreading about the 18" wheel option. I thought the 64E was the fanblades but now it might be the polished bullets. I don't really care in the end. I guess what comes is what I get.

And you know what comes is still going to look good. I ordered the Vista blue and I have no idea what it looks like, but I trust Ford and trust that they'll give me a good color.
