Woodburn - July 1st (Tonight!)

Anyone going to this? I am 90% sure I'll be there. Unless there is some catastrophe at work. I'm hoping to break into 14s. (Not too exciting for most of you, but I am tired of being in 15ville thats for sure).

Anyone gonna be there?

Yeah seems a few of the stangers are going to woodburn on saturday. the headsupnw crew will be there. Pir for friday and monday. Dont worry on the 15.. I was once ther :rlaugh: ..... wait no I wasnt... JUST KIDDING

We should be there with a few cars on saturday the 2nd. Jeff's Mod Drag radial notch, Chungs True street hatch, and Ray's Outlaw notch. Possibly a True street nitrous car TBA and a pair of true street hatch's as well. They wont let me run the SHO in sport compact cause they say there's nothing compact about it so I guess im settin out

Check out Headsupnw.com for more info but there is a payout for winners ($100) and 2nd place ($20)in the classes running there saturday and some classes have had only three or four people in the past.

See ya there!

Jeez whats gotten up your sleeves lately? Picking on me all over the place. :p enough of you guys making fun of me, and I'm going to drain my savings, tub out the stang and build a blown 392 stroker and whip all your asses. :rlaugh:

Of course that wouldnt bother wifesweetstang, because she knows where I would be getting most of my parts!

Should be fun though. I want to go to PIR, but the problem is location. My time window wont really allow a trip up to portland. Maybe next time I can go up there and try for 14s.

Theres no possibly in a true street nitrous car. I will be there for sure. As per no rain of course!

i'm going to try to make it saturday, hopefuly theres a class I can run in, or just take a few test and tune runs.Although I might not be getting off work until 2 or 3 fri/sat morning I should be there, maybe a little sleepy but there

Gates open open at 8:00am, qualifying starts at 9:30-10:00, spectators are $10 Racers are $25 at the gate plus a $20 buy-in for the Heads Up classes. Unfortunetly they were pretty anal about domestics just doing T&T last time, so other than sport-compact type cars you probably won't be allowed to race unless you're in one of the heads up classes.

Ed, what size are your tires? Your car would be legal for True Street, but I am not sure if you fit the 10.6" tread width. Like I told Tim, at the last race we allowed Walter to run in DR with some tires that weren't exactly class legal but that didn't allow a performance advantage, as long as the other racers don't object. We can talk about it on Saturday and see what's what.

I'm really encouraged by the excitement guys, hopefully this is an indication that our waining participation is turning around.

Eric

Eric im running 315 17 dr on 17 by 10.5 inch rims.I wish I knew if I could run tommorro , I'D hate to go all the way down there after only like 3 hours of sleep.Other wise I would go sunday instead, but i thought it would be kool to see everyone at woodburn and check out the heads up event since normaly I cant make it.

Eric When I called they said I might be able to do some test and tune runs.So will see what happens, I hate to have to buy in the heads up when I'll never usally be able to make it, plus it looks like my tires are going to be to wide anyway, I measured them and there between 11 and 12 inches. :(

ugh...last minute change of plans. We will be playing at PIR tonight and possibly saturday night instead of Woodburn in the morning. Wasnt looking like anyone would show up for Drag radial class and didnt want to waste a day.

Oh, so I guess everything revolves around All Ford Performances schedule. Ok fine I will go sit in traffic for hours to get there, but will be in the house to represent! Hopefully everybody is out of town so it won't be very crowded!
See ya at sevenish. Peace out!

good to see a few familiar faces there:)

Toby ran his Nitrous hatch, Beenstroked (the "other" Jeff :p ) squeezed a little, jeff#1 ran the Mod coupe (didnt see the last passes so I will wait to post times) and brandon did an awesome job with the green SN beast hitting an 11.4 at something like a 126mph or so and getting the boot for forgetting his door bars at home:) DOH! Ray, I know your reading this.....I was really hoping to see that 9.50 tonight and you were nowhere to be found...what gives?!
