Hey all, soooo glad to be here,

Tonight I picked up a 2006, GT Premium, stick.....18" polished.....only 12K on the clock!!!
Stangs I have owend over the years:
91 LX
93 LX (heavily modded)
98 GT
03GT

...and now, the 06. This car is just flat-out bad-AZZ. Tighter, quicker, and just plain meaner than any of the previous incarnations. (no offense to those that own them, I loved all my Stangs dearly) :)

I only have the rather cruddy dealership pics, but here they are for now.

QUESTION: in the rear panel OEM?? Anyone ever seen that before. I searched before posting.....no luck. Somebody clue me, please. Thanks!!:flag:

welcome to :SNSign: the decklid trim panel is from classic design concepts. here is a link to that item.

congrats on the purchase! i moved your thread to the talk section for you. :nice: the tech forums are for the "nuts and bolts" parts of the car, and the talk section is for the rest of it. you will get the hang of our forum in no time. stick around, we have a great group of people here!

Thanks everyone!!

And to make matters better, a WMS Ram Air was sitting under the hood, perfectly installed.....clean. Nice. The car runs GREAT!

Now, I just wonder if the back emblem was removed for the black-out??
Ya think? I can't tell. Just curious. Kind of a bummer if so, but since I do like the look of the black-out, I won't loose any ZZZZ's over it.

Got a smokin deal on the car too. I do look forward to mods...

#1 will be a shifter, or at least the Saleen adapter for now.

Heritage styling combined with today's technology and engineering resulted in the creation of this OE quality ingrained Classic Deck Lid Trim Panel. This ABS panel finishes out the style of the rear end requires no drilling, NO paint and eliminates the FAKE gas cap
:D

I would get a billet gas cap in a hearbeat, if they made a honeycomb tail panel that eliminates the faux gas cap! I love the honeycomb look, but not the 2 gas cap look. To me if you swap out the body colored cap for billet it's too much when viewed from the 3/4 rear driver side.
