Worth my time?!

I have an Typhoon intake manifold for my car.. I have never done an manifold by myself before but i have helped with about 6... :owned:
My friend is the master tech who can school anything when it comes to cars.. and is showing me the ways of the mustang...
I just have heard alot of bad things about the typhoon and people have nothing but problems but i bought it a long time ago. I tried selling it but with no luck...
What do you guys think, or maybe something i gotta watch out for..
thanks :SNSign:

The typhoon seemed to get a ton of publicity cause it was the first one, then it took a real **** when people started having problems with them. I'd try to get rid of it and regain some of what you lost, and put a trickflow on it instead. Those have dyno'ed some good numbers, even if they are waaay high in the RPM range.

since you have already bought it i would just put it on the people who have not had issues (very few) notice a difference i was looking into one untill i saw all the issues people were having and because of that you will have a hard time selling it thats why i say use it make sure that once installed you let the car idle for a while and see if you have any issues with vac leaks or coolent leaks also look at the plenum mount one of the bosses may not be at the proper hight in witch case i would just shim it with washers
