A 2.95 T-5 gearset would help (and be cheaper).

I boderline hate my 3.73's. Maybe they'd be alright if my car was fast i dunno but as for now I'm turning rpms and goin nowhere. I doubt I'll swap em out anytime soon due to labor costs but I kinda want to but I'm not sure which to go with. I had the 2.73s so I guess any is an improvement
Not about to swap to a t-56 though. I'd either drop to 3.55s or purchase an aftermarket t-5 5th hear with a taller ratio
Eh man its not just the noise its hard to explain. When I'm cruising at 70 its not at a comfortable rpm. It feels like its jut gonna keep pullin. It won't settle down and cruise.Honestly, if noise is the problem, then your best and most affordable option is a better set of mufflers. My car with 3.55s doesn't bother me with noise anywhere from 70 to 90mph.
