A friend of mine has a 2003 Cobra that is knocking so he is going to put a aftermarket long block in it and is going to sell his old one. Would it be worth buying and fixing it if it is not too bad then add a set of heads intake and power adder. I have a 2001 gt that it would be going into. Can someone give me some input of maybe some problems I would have etc etc. All comments welcome. Thanks Jeremy

my question would be why is it knocking ??? personally the 2v motors are putting down some serious numbers , just order a forged bottom end kit for yours and build from it .

What's he want for it? If it's under $500, grab it up. The parts that aren't damaged gotta be worth that atleast. Pistons --> $500, Rods -->$500, and the crank may be salvagable.
