I f you thermal wrapped a cold air kit(my piece of mac)from the fender duct up to the throttle body do you think that it would keep the air cooler cause it to heat up faster?

Easier to switch to plastic. Do you still have the stocker?

Yes,

I still have all f the stack parts for her, I just keep thinking about how crappy fender kits are.

search around, you may find out the temp from pipe doesn't affect the air much

The hot pipe doesn't have a huge effect, even if you get cold air to the engine the engine is hot, so the air will heat up, the only thing that will really cool it off is the cry 02 or any methanol injection, The metal CAI should work fine

www.steeda.com and go to mustang cooling and their is a wrap for like 20 bucks or something like that you can use..

IMO, CAI kits are a waste, unless forced induction is involved.
