would the 2001 motor and flywheel work with the 1999 transmission?

the 2001 would have a tremec 3650 probably and an 11 inch flywheel and clutch. correct me if i am wrong, but i do not think you can run the 11 fly wheel with that tranny. i know you can run 10.5 clutch and flywheel on the newer tranny, but i dont know about this way. im sure someone will jump in here and say for sure. if it does work, make sure you get a new clutch set up to match your flywheel.
