Just thought I'd post thius link to a little discussion we're having on our UK forum concerning the desirability or otherwise of a more practical Mustang fastback estate. These are a couple of photoshops. My view is it could be a fast-selling alternative to the regular coupe (rather than a replacement) and in the tradition of a breadvan shape Mustang?

What do you think?

Q: Would you buy a breadvan style estate?
A: No, not in a million years.

Put the guys who did the MGB GT or the Chevrolet Vega Kammback to work on it, and I'm there.

"Chop" a Mustang front end on this Sunflower Yellow Vega. Mmmm-mmm.

I've run both of those, and always admired the Volvo P-1800S, on a similar theme.

Love those 2-door "wagons".
