IS it the regular 3550?? There are 4 different levels. The TKO, TKO 500 and TKO 600 are far stronger than the 3550 which is rated at 350 ft-lbs.
The z-spec T-5 is rated at 330 ft-lbs.
Depending on what level G-force trans he has, it could be stronger than the 3550....and it's definitely lighter
I would take the g-force on that fact alone

Jeepsunlimted.com That's the best I could find. For performance there's a spot called "speed freaks".

i wouldnt trade any type/grade rebuilt tremec for any type/grade of rebuilt t5. the confidence of knowing i have nothing remotely related to that factory trashbox is nice. others will disagree, but i say leave the t5s to the 2.3 fords and the s-10s where it belongs
