WOW cant believe the cost to rebuild my A T

Just got the news today. Bone stock 2000 GT Vert. Tranny started leaking pretty bad. Never beat on in my 4 plus years of ownership and only 95000 miles…….
Rebuild with oem updated parts they say, $2500 2 year unlimited miles warranty
First big repair in 20,000 miles. Owell I plan on keeping it awhile, weekend toy

Yep, that is what I paid 3 months ago to have the transmission in my wife’s vert done.

A th-350 or c-4 is cheaper to rebuild. But that bill brings along a big sticker shock.

I am assuming that that $2500 is turn key, and a lot of that is remove and replace charge. So yea, that is normal.
