well I wrecked the stang today...it was wet outside and I was traveling behind a bus...I went to change lanes and looked over and saw there was a truck next to me..so I couldn't get over..by the time I looked back over the bus had stopped and I hit the brakes and the wheels locked up (even though I have abs) and I slid right under the bus...the hood is destroyed and the bumper is scratched up a bit and the passenger headlight was obliterated...the worst part of all is I am 19 and even though I am very responsible with it and hadn't had a single drop...I had a 6 pack in the back seat so I am told that I can pretty much kiss my license goodbye until I am 21 after my court date on the 20th...so you all wish me luck at convincing the judge not to take away my license but I am pretty sure it is going bye bye, mainly because I have had four other citations in the last 2 and a half years...me =

ouch dude... at least out here, any alcohol for an underaged person has to be in the trunk. that's why i hate busses, they always stop in the worst spots

of course, now the bus will be your best friend...

how ironic

hope you get to keep your licence, i'll keep my fingers crossed for ya

Spend the money and get a lawyer, it is normally worth the cost in the long run if they can get the charges reduced.

I agree with Chris, the alcohol should be in the trunk for the underage!

I feel your pain man. I looked away for a split second pulling out of a parking lot, and when I looked back, the guy in front of me had stopped pulling out and I nailed him. Didn't do much damage as we were only doing like 10, and no alcohol, but still, it happens to the best of us. Hope you get to keep your license.

Im sorry to hear that man, You should have said you were looking for your registration and opened up the back seat and thrown it in the trunk through the car as discreetly as possible before the cops came.... I hope you keep your license though.....

EDIT sorry just read about the H-pipe....

oh come on, I know our trunk spaces are small but even w/ an O/R H pipe in there you could still squeeze a 6 pack in there somewhere. Put the spare tire in the back seat and the beer under the capet and wood cover that goes over the spare, pleanty of room there

possesion of alcohol charge....just get a good lawyer and you'll get off. People get it at my school all the time. I'm pretty sure any alcohol in your car when your underage is illegal unless someone is 21 in the car, but I could be wrong.

Damn that blows, when I was 18 I was in a similar situation. Some biotch in a honda rear ended me @ 60mph while I was stopped on the hwy trying to turn into my driveway I had 2 cases of beer on me so I convinced my neighbor to take the "groceries" in his house and put them in the fridge haha worked too.

Damn Brian, I am really sorry to hear that. My friend just wrecked his car today also.

There have been numerous times when I have been in your situation. Slow guy infront, speed up to switch lanes, then find out there is a car there so I can't, and end up slamming on the brakes. I've been very fortunate all of those times, they all would have been accidents just like yours.

Good luck bro.
