WTF? Foglight Install...HELP!

I am replacing the old foglight with a new one...not the bulb, the whole thing. I cant get it apart- I understand how it is held in there, but cant figure out how to even get the housing off. Anybody with with personal experience? links?

I am stil searching, but wanted to post this incase someone can tell me directly.

Take the bumper cover off...it's much easier and you'll thank me later when your knuckles aren't all chewed up.

Man, those things are a PITA to get to. I with you on removing the bumper cover

Isnt there just like 2 or 3 screw that you have to remove and it pops right out? I did this on mine when mine started getting moisture in them. I jacked the front up, unscrewed the screws and it came out.

There are 3 screws. 2 on the top on either side, and one on the bottom. the bottom one is straight-forward, the Two top screws are an ABSOLUTE BITCH to get out. i rolled my car up on ramps and just crawled udnder and felt for the screws to unscrew them because i simply did not want to take off the front fascia.

Yep, huge PITA!! You have to get down and dirty if you want to keep your front bumper on during the install.

Like I said, it's much easier to take the skin off. 2 screws in each wheel well and a few others beneath.

well i took mine off...its not that hard...i was bleeding a lil after wards,....

but all you need is a phillips that is extended...its simple just tke the screws off...o but in my opinion i would use the magnet screw driver better...i should have thought about that my self...good luck...top time for bout..ill say about 30 to 40 minutes...

I'm pretty sure the 3 screws require a star bit, not a phillips. I found them a lot easier to take out than to put back in. GL

Thanks all...my brother was helping me. He pryed the old ones out, but its a ****** getting the new ones in right. HOWEVER, when I was putting the screw in the new one to keep it aligned, the top of the "screw whole" broke off. gotta figure something out to keep it aligned...

BTW, I did scrape some knuckle skin off! I didnt realize it was so "simple" to remove the bumper.
