For those of you that helped me, thanks a million. the parts that I need plus labor to install the gears are almost 600 bucks. I don't know how to do it myself, and I'd be scared to try anyway, for fear of messing it all up.
Like anyone else, I've streetraced a handful of times, but I don't do it often and that was my first one in nearly two years.
I asked questions about performance mods and got few answers and plenty responses.
sounds like a sweet deal but I think I'd better go with FI in the future. I had this book from 5.0resto but it ONLY had parts for the 351w, 302 and 289, even in the 99-04 stang section.I need something that'll run maybe low 12s at the track...but I didn't wanna spray it. I'm not confident enough in my driving skill for that
the subject is that you posted a street race here. Street racing is not something that is tolerated here. You are a brand new member with 0 post, and find the need to post a street race. You are going to get flamed, so expect it. Being a newb and posting something like that, you need to have a thick layer of skin here. Nobody is out for blood, so good luck with the mods.

but we do dish it out on poeple a lot... for FUN...don't take it to heart or you'll never survive on here....or in life... just ask FordTard... when it comes to mentioning streetracing on here, you better be prepared to get totally reamed by everyone on here.. if we pick on you it's all in good fun...unless you were to get all bent out of shape and start actin all honda guy on us...it's all in good fun
just make sure you read the terms on what to talk about on here.. this threads about to be locked down by the forum police.. oh and if you get a nitrous kit like zex, it comes with a window switch so that you can program it when to spray and stop spraying for you...they make it totally idiot proof so theres no way you can do any harm to your car...even if you are a chity driver...unless you make it so it starts spraying below 3200 or above rev limit
