from my personal experience, the X-pipe gave the car a smoother more crisp tone.
the H-pipe made the car more raspy and deep. i used them with the same mufflers, headers and tails. might have been a fluke or my imagination but thats my experience.

and if you are asking whats the difference in design.....well that should be a no-brainer.

Sounds like an accurate description

The X is "supposed" to be more efficient at cylinder scavenging due to the design of the crossover.

I prefer the X myself....

apparently slightly more hp with x over h, but nothing to be concerned with. i'd just search sound clips and get what you like.

I've got a 2 1/2'' MAC X on mine and love it. Eventually I'm going to have a 3'' made when I get my 393 ready to drop in.

X-pipes give you an extra 2-3hp at higher RPMS over H-pipes
