I don't have an x pipe yet, but have done research on the site. someone correct me if I'm wrong but you should use the mil eliminators on the rear 02 sensors and the 03/04 years will need extenders to reach the front locations.

what year is your mustang? gt?

03/04 need the extensions to reach out to the REAR o2's.

so get the extensions, and plug them in to reach out onto the rear o2's, and you should be good. If your car is not an 03/04 then theres something else wrong.

yes, you use the extensions to plug the original harness plugs that wouldve gone straight to your REAR o2's into your MIL eliminators.

so harness plug ---> extensions ----> MIL eliminator -----> o2's

and if your CEL/MIL light are from the rear o2's reading out weird because of the lack of cats, then yes, the light should go away if the MILs are properly installed.
