does anyone know if the control arms from x2c motorsports are any good. they sound like they are and they are dirt cheap. but they saying "you get what you pay for" keeps going in my head. for like 140 you can get uppers and lowers

there was a story on another board of a guy that x2c's upper and lowers....a weld on the uppers broke causing a failure of the arm, which inturn caused his rear end to get cocked at an angle which broke his driveshaft in half...i'll see if i can find that for you

I think those were the problems with the first batch..now it has been corrected and I think they replace free of charge the guys who bought the first batch..anyways now the problem has been fixed on all the upper/lower arms they sell...

Really man, F.U.C.K. X2C! I hate them that much! Read the previous posts about x2c. Most people say the same! One guy had his back end destroyed by braces!!!

I've had two other sets of control arms from reputiable shops and both broke. I now have X2C upper and lowers and they seem very good and hold my power. With my suspension the power goes to the ground. 446rwhp and 442rwtq. I would buy them again. Just my opinion.

I looked at that post and the pictures of the control arms. It looks to me like the driveshaft may have broken first causing some kind of violent reaction in the rear end. If you look at the pics the X2C control arms are not deformed enough to cause the rear end to move so much as to break the driveshaft. In fact, if you look at the pics you can't even see where the control arms are broken.

Anyways - I've got the X2C Boxer ST's on my Bullitt making 451 rwhp.
The car feels great, it sits fine, and the arms make no noise at all.

It's my opinion that these arms are as good as or better than control arms costing twice as much.
