I noticed that my xcal2 said that i have 5 changes left. Does this mean i can only change my custom tune 5 more times? If it does what can i do to make more adjustments?
I would be seriously pissed if changes are limited because i was never told they were prior to purchase.
No. You can change all the parameters in the xcal2 as many times as you want to. What that means is that you can only have the tuner reset or unlocked 5 more times. Once the tuner is flashed to your computer you cannot flash another computer with it. So if you sell the tuner you have to put the factory tune back in your car and then whoever you sell it to can take it to a sct dealer and get if unlocked for around 25 dollars. Then they can flash there car. and you can do this up to five times. Then I think you have to send if off to get it redone. The reason I know this is because I bought a used one.
