Normally I hate restomods with new rims, but you did a great job with those, they look very tactful and subtle. Nice job.
I also like the new lights you installed. I'm planning on doing a similar setup on my dream stang. You have basically solved all the problems with the old '60's cars in general.
I noticed you installed a touch screen TV, how much does your stang now weigh?
wow, very nicely done. Love the hood scoop being rivited on and the flares. Really makes the body look aggressive. Interior is incredible as well. The red stitching looks fantastic.
one question though, why leave the exhaust pipes looking so unfinished when everything else is so highly detailed? They look out of place
I also noticed George how the chrome bumper fits very well into the car, what kind of procedures did they use?
I'm curious because I know that some 60's cars I see have chrome bumpers that fit better than others.
In regards to the exhaust, I sort of see where SimplyJ was coming from, maybe you want the finish to look less...dull. I guess that's the major issue with them, they are thin and the shine on them looks more grey than the shiny exhausts you usually see.
But other than that, they look good to me.
Looks like I'd be right at home. Amazing food, amazing sights, and musclecars too!
It was worth the wait for all those photos . . . nice job. You consistently carried the riveted theme everywhere, and it works.
the pipes just look too unfinished... almost like extra large muffler shop exhaust pipes. I think a smaller oval or rectangular tip close to the rear valance (or even some cutouts on the bottom of the rear valance) would look much better. Just something so the tips tuck up closer to the valance and not as far out the back. Clean and neat
Hey George, I vote for #2--but chrome them, don't just leave them polished steel.
That's my opinion anyway!
