it was freezing rain last night, i could NOT get my car door open. i have it about an inch open and the dome light/courtesy lights came on and i couldnt get it shut again. so im like ****! i cant leave it on or the battery will die.
so i eventually got the hatch open and crawled thru the backseat and kicked the driver door open, left some nice shoo prints on my leather door panel.

I'm just east of Rockford and we have about 8" of snow so far and are expected to get another 4-6 before noon. My stang is completely covered with snow. I think this is going to be my last winter with this car. I hate when it snows and i'm on lockdown because my car handles like s hit in the snow even with snow tires.

I've driven an 86 Mustang GT and a 95 Formula LT1 in the snow before...

I have to say that the GM guys have it much worse than we do

Man i used to drive my '88 GT through snow so deep that the front bumper would drag through the snow going down the street. It's all about Goodyear All Seasons and knowing how to drive a 5 speed in the snow.

Lockdown as in i can't go anywhere. I used to drive a grand am and that sucker could go through anything. I'm sure by the time i get out of work the streets will be cleared and i will be able to drive my car again. Salt or not i don't care i'm driving my car year round. Thats the one plus to driving this car year round. In the winter i have almost zero competition.

We ask for it (snow) every year and never get it. I think the last time it snowed and stuck was about 8yrs ago. Still had the 86. Usually we will get some flurries and sleet but nothing major. We actuall recorded the earliest snow fall in Charleston's history about a week ago. It was cool. All was done by 10:00 AM .
I think we are gonna get some cool weather this weekend though, but no snow.

if i do go anywhere im taking the GFs Audi, my gti sucks in the snow, everytime the tires start to spin the boost creaps up and makes it worse.

That time it was light but stuck. Most was gone by the end of the day. The last big one we had (not like original pic though) was right after hurricane Hugo.
