Okay it looks like Sunday night I am going to have about 600 dollars, and I say its time for an exhaust. I am going to with the the mustangtuning X-pipe with cats (since I HAVE to have cats, as much as I wish i didnt)

Now I have two choices really

A) Get mustangtuning X-pipe, save up a little more money and buy a full cat back system.

or

B) Get mustangtuning X-pipe and order 40 series mufflers and stainless steel tips and weld them in.

My real question is when you weld in mufflers how does it sound? Becuase I could get the mufflers and tips for around 200 (on mustangtuning its 75 dollars for 1 muffler right and I need two?) I have access to a welder so I can do it myself so i dont have to worry about paying someone.

Will I be very dissapointed with the sound of welded in mufflers? Or will the mustangtuning xpipe and welded in flows sound good? How much sound will I lose with the smaller pipes?

Thanks

Chris

I would get the 40 series flows from

http://www.ninosport.com/store/Mustang/item_Flowmaster.htm

As much as I like mustangtuning they are cheaper here at $56 each also with free shipping. That is where I ordered mine. But still get the X from Mustangtuning because they are awesome, most everyhting else I have came from them.

Check my sig for a clip of stock exhaust with flows welded in. I think it sounds great. WIll sound even better with the X

Yes, I would love to go through you guys, but I like the price of the musatng tuning X alot more than all the other catted X's. Ill be at your shop hopefully within the next couple weeks, after i sell my dirtbike, ordering some body parts, possible going with something similar to kidds car, since i love steeda splitter and the steeda hood. And since someone rear-ended me while i was parked and gone and cracked my rear bumper, im thinking maybe a saleen bumper is in my near future.

Im going to be Steeleen Fobra number two if i can get some cobra parts lol.

Also Tim what paint shops do you recommend for painting new body parts good but at a reasonable price?

The difference between Option A and Option B will be hardly noticeable.
