Haven't seen this discussed too much, but mentioned from time to time. Those of you with Off Road X Pipes just how smelly does it get? Like full blown gas odor or what?

You can smell it quite easily but I dont mind it. I actually kinda like it. Similar to a gas smell.

It has to be bad! I have a catted X and when I first start up (before the cats heat up) it really stinks (just like my 71' Torino)!

Had a Bassani o/r X and it smelled like rotten eggs. Not good. For what ever reason, the Dr. Gas doesn't create the same smell. Who knows why, but it's completely different.

oh

yeah it smells bad at times but its a nice smell.. old school car smell..

LOL ok cause the cat on my beater seems to have died and it reeks...oh well, guess ill deal for the extra few horses gained

and the louder sound of course

if its sulfur you guys are smelling it could be the catalytic counverters going south couldn't it?

I have a Dr. Gas O/R x-pipe and don't smell anything bad.
