Lunch break update: As I sit in my office munching on a reheated chicken sandwich, and chewing on some pepered deer jerkey, I thought you know i havent updated on the stangnet site in a while. And that brings me here. I open up the site and see one thing right off the bat, a new look. Its strange and to be honest scary, its like somebody came into your house and painted your room while you were sleeping. I must say i do not approve. Sure the new logo looks sweet and the old site was getting old but on the same side I was beginning to love the old look. Ok thats neither here nor there, the second thing I noticed right away was the fact that the stangnet loyal, the people who love and adore these cars and who understand that in building a car from the ground up over the course of 8 years, you form a special bond with YOUR car, not somebody else's car that just so happens to look like yours. These people that understand me and who guide me through all my life decisions, were now trying to tell me that its a good idea to sell my pride and joy LiL Red to a complete stranger so he/she can pretend like they know how much time it took to get those header bolts in or knew how to adjust the eccentric bolt just right so that the convertible top wont sag or look cheap. My jaw absolutely dropped to the floor, for years people have been telling me that I need to sell that car to make my life easier, they tell me, "You know Andy you sell that car you can buy a ring for Heather outright and have enough money left over to pay for your college debt." or this one "You know Andy, you sell that car you wouldnt have to pay rent ever again, you could just put a big down payment down on a house by they lake" or this one, "Andy you sell that car, you will have enough money to buy yourself a nice truck and Heather a nice car." Well I have stuck with the car and never once even considered selling it, I have paid off my college debt, purchased Heather the ring she deserves, and I got a new truck, I even had enough left over to pick myself up a dirty old boat. No chance I will ever sell that car, unless Heather herself says that we need to, but sir I would not bank on that one. At any rate, we have found ourselfs a little place in the country, sitting on some land, It only has a one car garage but it does have a decent sized barn, I figure I can put the stang in the Garage, and park our cars in the barn, Probably leave the boat outside with the cover on it. The house will need a little work, possibly some siding, definatly some carpet, in the living room there is green carpet. and the bathroom is pink. But overall its a nice place in the quiet country. I have a few pics on my home machine I will post them up tonight around 9:30, I want to try to get into the house before the wedding but I am not sure if that is going to happen, we are only 5 weeks out from the wedding, and I CAN NOT WAIT!!!! Its going to be so much fun, we have been anticipating this for almost a year, I can remember when I posted pictures of the ring before I gave it to Heather, I bet that was almost exactly 1 year ago, I remember asking for Ideas on what I should do for the big night, I have to thank yall again for your help, It was defiantly a wild ride, and in a way I almost wish that we would be engaged for a while longer, but on the other side, I am more than ready to get rid of this blue problem, not only that but I am awful excited to see her prance around in her costumes from vikie S's, Yeah excited about that one. Soo lets see, I cant think of anything else, One thing i sure am glad about is the fact that they dont have the stangnet site blocked at this new job :SNSign: I can spend all day here!
