After my current "upgrade" I can drive it over to my buddy recycling plant to weigh it. It will have some "optional" equipment at tholat point though lolHave you put it on the scales yet? I am really interested to know what it comes in at.
No weight savings as of yet, but that can change any minute. My head is spinning over everything that is going on around this stuffThat will be close enough. It is pretty easy to figure out what the "extras" weigh. Do you plan on any weight saving "mods"?
Two wicked street cars you are gonna be super happy I think with this thing . funny how as always start out like I'm not gonna go to crazy and then it become " Eh what's another 1000 " LolNo weight savings as of yet, but that can change any minute. I'm not just a pretty faceThat was one of the best write ups I tnink I have ever read !
Vortech has plenty of options for self contained units. I have the go big mentality and that required me to go to this extreme. Most guys you will find run a V3Si or Novi2200 which will both make 700hp and can still be self contained as far as the lubrication system goes.I don't know if I'd have the heart to punch a hole in an oil pan with only 200 miles on it
I believe you're correct. My TVS2300 is supposed to be checked at 100K miles. His set up is being changed every time he changes the oil.Do you not have to worry about checking the oil in the Blower like guys with self contained systems would?
Damn, 100K miles?! I didn't know that, that's alot of miles. I'm pretty sure you're supposed to rebuild the roots type blowers around 100K.I believe you're correct. My TVS2300 is supposed to be checked at 100K miles. His set up is being changed every time he changes the oil.
