87 drum brake wheel cylinders

Do the 87 reare drum wheel cylinders use any type of metal bullet looking parts that go into the cylinder and then attach to the shoe like on the older model brakes? I am trying to work on a set of brakes that I dissamebled month ago and I cant remember. Also, does anyone have maybe a few pictures of the brake setup. I am trying to adapt an 8.8 to put in a 66 stang so I am not completely familair with this setup. Thanks
