Front End Popping

I have got a 2002 v6 and we had just replaced the ball joints on it. When we were done we started hearing a popping sound from what seems like the front brakes. Checked the brake pads because they were slow to release found the brake pads were on wrong so we fixed that but still had the popping. It pops when turning and just driving but doesn't seem any more noticeable on bumps. It also does it occasionally when getting out of the car. Thinking it could be something loose in the suspension. Any ideas?

I recently had this problem diagnosed. In my case, I have a bad tie rod end. It only happens when I turn in one direction, or sometimes when I get out of the car.
